The Battle of the Two Greatest Players EVER! - Personal Trainer Newcastle Joe Wear Fitness

The Battle of the Two Greatest Players EVER!

Yesterday was the Aussie open final.

Did you see it?

Two of the greatest to ever play the game Roger and Rafa battling it out.

5 sets of back and forth nail biting rallies.

With Roger coming out on top.

I love watching the best compete.

Where they put everything on the line.

The fitness levels are insane.

But at the same time it’s no surprise they pick up injuries every now and again.

That level of sport you need to be at your best.

Because your results dictate your success.

Which always surprises me when for whatever reason some talented tennis players don’t take care of the fitness sidee of things.

Because when it comes down to it.

If you have two players of equal skill who stands the biggest chance of winning?

The fittest one of course.

It’s the biggest thing you can control.

Thats why the top pros put so much effort into it.

You think Andy Murray would be where he is if all he did was play tennis?

Nope you gotta put the gym work in.

It’s what I try and teachjunior athletes.

“Train hard today or someone else will”

Now training hard doesn’t mean smashing your body into the ground every day.

It’s taking care of everything.

Having a training programme designed for you and your current fitness levels.
