Back To the Grind!

Some people will never change.

It used to do my head in when people would ask for help pay good money for training then do nothing about it.

Ever read one of those self help books?

I’m all over them.

Goal setting
How to achieve success and freedom

Things along those lines.

The best one is the 12 week year

With the single bit of best information I’ve ever read.

It’s called the Emotional Cycle of Change.

It explained to me in simple terms why so many people fail with getting in shape.

Theres 5 stages

1. Uniformed Optimism – When you get super pumped about an idea
2. Informed Pessimism – When it starts to get tough and you doubt if you want to continue
3. Valley of despair – When you say enoughs enough and quit.

Now usually people get to stage three then revert back to stage 1 after a couple weeks or months even.

But the thing is you need to push on through to stage 4 and 5.

4 Informed optimism – You start to see success (more energy, clothes fit better even a glimpse of an ab)
5 Success and fullfilment – The benefits of your new behaviour are changed for good and it’s now part of your lifestyle. The actions that were once difficult and uncomfortable come naturally)

So think of an area which you would like to change in your life?

Could be your body, business or mind.

You decide then read through the emotional cycle of change again.

Because whichever way you look at it.

Life isn’t all happiness and fun.

It can be tough.

Family life

Social Life

Work life

One of my clients summed it up brilliantly this morning.

“Everyone’s busy”

Very True.

So in such busy times it’s CRUCIAL that you have goals and a plan to succeed.

Schedule it in your diary so it becomes routine and you can achieve what you want.

A fit body = a fit mind so why not book your free coaching session today.
