Bang into a show called Ballers at the minute.
Has the Rock in it who is an absolute machine.
He’s an ex American footballer turned financial advisor to superstar rich NFL players who just blow there money on girls, fast cars and drugs.
The Rock basically tries to get them as clients and to teach them to look after their money better.
Anyways theres one charachter Vern who has an old friend who is sponging off him.
Gets him into a ton of bother.
But Vern has known him all his life and doesn’t want to upset him even though he knows hes a waste of space.
Now heres the thing if Vern was wise he would realise his friend wasn’t actually much of a friend and ditch him.
They’ve obviously changed a lot since they were teenage friends.
It got me thinking.
Have a look around your current situation.
Are the people closest to you trying to help or hinder your progress?
If they’re not helping you whats the point?
If you want to shift some timber you’re going to need to make a few sacrifices.
And I guarantee that will upset a few people around you.
You’ll get the comments such as.
Come on mate it’s only a pint.
Don’t be so boring man.
What you doing that training for?
Now before you start getting rid of your mates left right and central.
Have you actually explained to people what you want?
Blokes aren’t the best at chatting but it does help.
Can you come up with a go to response?
I’m not drinking during the week but will have a pint at the weekend.
^^^^or something similar^^^^
Because when it comes down to it if the poeple around you aren’t supporting you then do you need them?
You should wanna shift some timber so you can move, look and feel better.
Which will make you more productive at work and home.
Commit to moving forward with your fitness.
Hardest thing is starting.
I’d love to help.
