Takes a lot for me to give my Saturday afternoons up!
But tomorrow I’m part of an exciting new project for Squash players.
A launch of a new High Performance coaching set up for top juniors in the North east.
See I love to coach people that want to get better.
I love sports.
And I love to show how strength and conditioning can benefit athletes and the general public.
Along with a top Sports psychologist and squash coach it is set up perfectly.
Hence why I said I’d do it!
Heres the thing though with anything new.
I know it won’t be perfect.
I know we will have some stumbling blocks.
I know there will be nervous players and coaches.
It’s totally natural.
Far to often people are scared to try something new incase they fail.
Worried of peoples opinions.
Worried what you might look like.
When in reality everyone is just doing their best.
Self doubt can be crippling.
But at the same time if you want to grow and develop you need to push yourself.
Step out that comfort zone.
Grow with confidence.
My number one advice when wanting to start a new challenge.
Go all in and commit to doing it.
Give it your best shot..
Be prepared to work hard through the inevitable tough times.
If you’re already thinking about improving your own fitness next year.
I’ll have details of my January 30 day challenge next week.
P.S Enjoy your weekend!
