This shocking stat on obese kids!

So I heard today on the radio 1 in 10 kids are obese

I mean what is going wrong?

on the occasions when my weight starts to go up

I give myself a slap realise it’s no good for me and do something about it.

Last Friday I watched England u21’s play at the riverside stadium

Overweight parent and child sat in front

guess what they did all match?

That’s right eat chips and drink coke.

Yeah I’m judging here but if that’s the staple of your diet it needs addressing.

Unless you’ve tried the working hard and making better food choices consistently

I’m not accepting you can’t lose weight.

Back in the day I used to go coaching in the schools

Taking P.E sessions

Kids used to love it

See kids love to have fun

Run, jump, throw and catch.

Play games.

When I ask the kids who I coach now what their favourite subject is?

They always say P.E

So who’s letting these overweight kids down?

Maybe the kids need to take more responsibility?

Some kids hate being told no.

But life’s going to throw you a lot of No’s and disappointments

So the sooner they learn the better.

There’s no debating

Health and Fitness is important

Sport and activity is important

The answer lies in education

^^^read that again^^^

Nobody wants to be fat and out of shape.

If you need some help.

Take some of the money you spend on over eating and drinking.

Then spend it on  getting results with your body.

If money is tight google “Free exercise programmes”

The info is out there.

Chances are you need someone to hold you accountable.

That’s where I can help, but only if you’re serious.
