Cracking night of footy last night.
The toon struggled to a 2-0 win and Arsenal got the job done against non league Sutton
But you know what grabbed the headlines
A fat Goal keeper coach scranning a pie during the match.
I mean for heavens sake.
Why is this thing celebrated?
Why’s there still certain people that think stuffing their face and not looking after their health is funny or banter?
And you know what.
If I thought the bloke doing it was happy about his situation it wouldn’t of bothered me so much
But the downside of being overweight and putting on a front in my eyes just hides the pain.
Hopefully i’m wrong but having tried to help many overweight people over the years.
I’ll go ahead and say actions like this aren’t usually from a happy place.
I’ve also been overweight.
Called fat (dam you American stud athletes at uni)
It’s not funny.
It actually hurts.
But you have two options.
Man up and do something about it.
or laugh/ take the piss out of yourself and keep damaging your health.
Here’s a list of the benefits of being in in shape
1. More energy
2. Clothes fit better
3. More compliments (everyone likes those)
4. More pleasant to be around.
5. You can play sport without feeling like you’re going to pass out after 5 minutes.
6. You’re more confident.
7. You’ll be more productive at work.
8. You’ll have less chance of being injured.
Generally you will be a more awesome human being.
Now what kinda example does this bloke send out to others?
Not a good one in my eyes.
It’s sad to see.
Maybe I’m over reacting?
Hopefully my friend is happy and doing it for banter
But like I said before from experience I don’t think he is.
It’s a culture of men being to brave to ask for help when the pounds get piled on.
It’s a culture of the more pints you drink the more of a man you are.
It’s a culture not to talk about feelings.
When does it stop?
Heart attack maybe.
Possibly a little extreme but being overwieght plays havoc with your body/mind.
Our friend above would need a major mindset switch.
The worse thing about being stuck is not asking for help.
Hit me up today and i’ll get you started for Free.
