Every now and again you gotta take some time and think what’s your goal?
What do you want?
Cos life is a fast moving roller coaster.
Highs and lows that can leave you behind.
Here’s the things i’m focussed on right now.
Spending quality time with my woman, friends and family.
My business which is helping my clients and athletes improve themselves.
My football to get back playing for Heaton Stan.
3 simple areas that make me happy.
What would yours be?
Go one step further and write them down.
Take my football for example.
I’m a bit out of match practice so I’m playing some matches for another team.
So hopefully if I get a chance to get back on the team I can take it.
Cut throat world is non league football.
I could look to make excuses but to be honest I haven’t done the required work to play so have fell down the pecking order.
No time for sympathy in the real world is there?
So my first game was the other night.
It’s never easy going into a new environment.
Even the cocky arrogant person who appears they don’t care will have nerves.
Nerves and Fear of what others think holds so many people back!
Still happens to me a lot.
Now here’s some common thoughts new clients have when starting a fitness programme with me.
What if i’m the unfittest person there?
Everyone wants you to succeed so it’s a friendly environment and I don’t work with knob heads.
What if I can’t do the exercises?
I make the exercises suited to you and your current fitness levels so don’t panic.
What if I can’t follow the nutrition plan?
There’s so many different ideas for meals it’s impossible not to find something you like.
Being nervous is ok!
In fact it’s a good thing.
You just need to use them correctly not to cast fear and doubt into your head.
As long as you aren’t going to be a pain to work with.
Come see me and i’ll help.
